I like this very much, and did something very similar. I bought 6 steel OEM wheels (sold the alloys), and run them in rotation; so I get 50% "more" tire life.

As for size, I prefer tall and narrow, although I realize I am in the minority here. 245/75R16 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W and couldn't be happier.

When I installed my Alcan leafs, I noticed they set the axle back a little. So I installed a set of axle relocation plates and moved it 1 inch forward. Now, it is better centered in the wheel well.
Also replaced my rear pinion seal today as well.

I do have those spacers. Some of them have broken in areas I was thinking replacing them might help. I coated the entire thing in white lithium tonight that is where the foam mess came from. Some thick grease like lucas red or something yeah?

Yeah. Lucas red should do it or any other molly based grease (it doesn't wash off in water that's why it's recommended)

Same thing happened to mine minus the crack.
Replaced it with a diamond factory width housing. Good option if you want something beefy as an "OEM+" replacement

I can live with the speedo being off... I use a scan gauge for all that. I absolutly need to do the limiter delete.

I wonder if I modified something on my ice racing truck... it could definitely peg the speedo on wheelspeed

If you sever the spd signal to the ECU from the cluster then it won't limit but decel also doesn't work right so it'll pop a lot more and waste fuel coasting
