Oh man, that subject goes deep. Lifespan? Shedding? Energy level? Good nature? I’ve had all kinds dogs. Many Basset rescues. We have a Golden now and she is fantastic. Hair bag. Squared !! But a great gentle companion, soft mouth (they don’t bite hard) great with kids. Many other breeds are good too but we just used to go down to the pound and rescue one.

 

Definitely leaning towards a golden retriever. Thanks dude.
