This is great they do motorcycle wheels as well. I'm at this terrible convergence of my bikes need tires, the tacoma needs tires, and my other truck needs one tire replaced.

edit: also if anyone has stock take-offs they want to sell let me know.

ha! Yea, I can relate since I have a few vehicles myself and it sucks when the maintenance is due all at once, hell..even when they’re all on empty gas tanks and need a fill up

Carl is legit, he takes the time to take care of what you need done.

I realize now my post was a little ambiguous, are you willing to sell the tires only?

Is Discount Tire the best local tire shop near Covington/98042? I need to get some new tires for my son's 2001 Integra. 195/55R15 seems to be an odd size now.

I like the one in Renton near old downtown. I wouldn’t go to big o tires or Firestone

Anyone care to share a decent camp spot around greenwater? Planning to go poke around for a few days this week, I usually camp up by the pacific crest trail but looking for a different spot.

If anybody was wondering the weight difference between 285/70/17 (wild peaks) and 35x10.5x17 (kendas) it’s roughly 15lbs

    Need some expert advice.

Test fitting my bumper after all painted up but one thing that has bothered me about this bumper is how close it sits to the body. Its pretty much a 1mm gap with no room to flex.

What is the recommended gap for chassis flex? I'm assuming 1/2" would be good enough as i plan to add a 1/2" body lift.

1mm probably fine for a mall crawler.

If you’re doing a body lift, then no need to adjust the gap between the bumper and cab.

That’s what I figured and I wanted to confirm if .5” was enough for chassis flex.

Should be good. I have maybe less than .25” and it rubbed the powder coat off. But definitely .5” is good. Might want to do a flex test and see though after you lift it.

Is anyone going to be attending the Puget Sound Toyota Owners Club (PSTOC) meet at Griot's Garage in Tacoma on Sept. 21st? I think we're setting up a simple, small booth to sell some merch and display some vehicles. Would be cool to meet some other locals!

it's no Tacoma, but check out our shop van! It's always stocked with free stickers and we have tshirts & hoodies for sale. Honk if you see it driving around! And if you haven't yet -- follow us on Instagram & FB @tslautospec! This van was painted locally by a good friend and the hand-painted script was done by Bryce Macdonald. He does a lot of work for various storefronts and bars. Great guy.
