Well I got them out except a couple stubborn scratches but fortunately they are near the roof so I’m not chasing them any further. This was a labor intensive ordeal and lesson learned not to use green scotch brite on my windshield. It took a third of the bottle and a lot of elbow grease but I won’t know until my next morning commute how satisfied I am.

Today I received my wiflash cable and flashed the OTT medium tune on my 6MT truck. First impressions from a quick drive around the block is good so far, will be driving one of my many routes tonight that I have done 100 times and see how much better it feels.

Got some suspension work done. Tried and true 6112/5160 setup w/ Bilstein upper UCA's. Lead time on these beauties was 2 months. I received them in about 1 months time. Couldn't be happier.20240912_182545.jpg 20240912_182356.jpg 20240912_182340.jpg

Drove around Truckee/Lake Tahoe, CA for a bit. A few pics from Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe. My phone didn't pick up the kayakers very well. They're the yellow and red wedges in the two bottom pictures. Maybe it's time for a new iPhone.

Edit: Also passed 50,000 miles today on the odometer. :turtleride:

I believe he said he was shutting down on the thread dedicated to his grille…it’s a shame it’s a great looking product. I could be wrong though.

Haha…yeah, it took me a while to find something like this. You can pretty much mount anything you like. I just used some one-sided sticky rubbers on the far ends of the mount to eliminate any possible vibrations with the bed. I love my setup.

Are the fluid changes scheduled for tomorrow?

That, is a boatload of work; congratulations. You got some serious skills. How does it all feel on the road, will you get an alignment now?

Swapped out the stock mirror turn signals for some blacked out sequential ones. One step closer to a full chrome delete!

I’ll have to wait and take it on Monday for the alignment. Hoping to knock the fluid changes out tomorrow, the transmission takes a while. I have a 3 week old boy at home, but hoping he will nap well enough for me to get some fluids swapped out. This is my second set of the 6112s and I’ve really liked them. My truck lives on washboarded dirt roads and they handle it great. Definitely an improvement over the stock SR shocks!

Yes, you can temporarily disable it using the settings on the MIM:

I like it just in case. The only other time it triggered was when someone pulled out right in front of me. I was on the brake at the same moment but if I hadn't been fully alert it would have been a big help. I think it also enables the adaptive cruise which I've found convenient a few times.
