Who’s got dash covers? Love or hate them. Been debating on one for my old man truck build

Upgraded my ditch light drone Rigid flood pods to SpeedDemon side shooter HD pods. Tinted them yellow and blacked out the inside leds so the hood don’t glow so much. Bigger and more power. These things are bright.

 

Used it to run to farm for fresh eggs,then cooked wife a few..

 

Where is the Taco?

 

Had a 2000 forester for awhile. Great ski car.
Thought you had seen me driving it when you accused me of being a latte sipping Vermonter lol.

 

Finally got my 16' tuned.
So much better. I went with the light / mild tune. Should be enough for me.

I picked this up today for $100. Anyone know the part # for this cover? It's a Toyota OEM Tri-fold. 5.5 ft bed.

Trying to find some install instructions (in a pdf) and see of there's any other parts I need to order for it.

Dashmat. They have several textures to choose from and a lot of different colors. Buy and use extra Velcro backing if you want it contoured better.

 

Gonna need the special rails for it.

 

I have some rails on my tacoma. Not sure if they are what you're talking about?

Changed out my BPF front recovery point to these NYTOP. Will be selling my BPF by the way

 

I almost bought an OEM cover just before I got my truck and then looked into parts and decided to go another direction. I don't have my research anymore, and I hate to discourage you (I hope you can prove me wrong), but it's a complicated cover. You'll need special rails, rail caps, and connecting hardware (there were multiple types for the different locking points - all special order as it was a factory only option. Maybe stop by a dealer and have a chat with the parts folks or see if you can find another truck with it. I called a dealer's parts department, and they were not very encouraging. Several around here carry the G4 tonneau as the dealer-installed option.
