We saw a Black Bear on Sunday...the day before our departure!

We are dog-sitting this weekend so our youngest & her hubby can enjoy their trip to Maine.

Having dinner up in Middletown tonight before we do Pup pick-up--We enjoyed the restaurant called "Shaka Ramen."

Paging Connor @Dream Weaver for review of this restaurant...since it's in his neighborhood.

 

Sounds like a fun planned weekend!

I’ll be changing my UCAs… so that’s fun. And maybe chopping the cab mount.

 

I'll be doing yardwork chores...at least, I can plan to do them. lol

My Talon CAT plate needs to be removed and re-installed because it's making crackling sounds when I turn the steering wheel/enter my driveway.

One of the bolts I over-torqued and needs to be "drilled out" with an easy out but I've been putting it off.

One of these weekends I'll get to it. lol

Just tanked up the wife's Elantra and did a Bavarian Bakery run: Muffins, Apple Pockets, and 1 cream cheese pastry.

Sounds like fun! I’ll usually go to a local bakery on Sundays for a couple doughnuts and an apple fritter

 

We just ate breakfast...which I prepared while wife slowly wakes up. lol

Packing our little hiking backpack with water bottles, granola bars, sun screen & bug repellant.

After our meetup in Brantwood Park, we will return home and do our usual grocery shopping and get on with the rest of our day.

 

Sounds like fun. I’m trying to decide if I have the motivation to wash at least the front wheel wells of my truck and then if I want to cut the cab mount and swap the UCAs out…

Outlook is not good for any of that though

Some info about yesterday's meet-up with our daughter/son-in-law & their Cavalier King Charles Tri-color female named: Oona.

Brantwood Park is just inside the MD border--there's a memory path there to walk along.

We had Azshara, our youngest's daughter's Black Lab.

Luckily, both pups are familiar with long drives in the back seat of a car...which they tolerate. lol

This morning, it's coffee time and matched with a pastry from the Bavarian Bakery.

 

Ed, sounds like a nice outing with the pups. Beautiful day for it.

I enjoyed the morning working in my garage. I replaced the stock OR shocks with 5100s on the rear axle. It was my first foray into suspension work so I figured I'd start at the easy end. It went well and I plan to do the front some other weekend soon. No lift, just upgrading the shocks and keeping the factory ride height.

Chris @BassFisher887 , it was a gorgeous day for a walk in the park in Elkton, MD...the wind blew some leaves off the tree and they fell slowly...my daughter blurted out, "FALL!"

Glad you had a good day in the garage...sounds like you felt comfortable replacing the rear shocks...it feels great doing your own work!

I'm guessing they just snap on/spring loaded?
