Toyota will probably give the 4G longer or heavier springs in the future. The rake is going to be a huge complaint from 4G owners.

I’ll get the hate against rake. It makes your truck drive better, it hauls better, it looks better. Efforts to make your truck look and perform less truck-like aren’t a good use for my money.

You'll also get better traction (the more weight in the bed the better)...

I don't get that squat or leveling stuff some do, and same for a lot of modifications some do. I don't need to play SuperTrucker. The now long ago time I spent in Kenworth and Mack trucks was not really so romantic. The putting low profile tires on some do is particularly puzzling because that's my protection for off road, bad road and actual truck use.

My 2024 TRD OR long bed is my 5th pickup over 44 years and it is just crazy capable without any modifications. The modifications some make for being off road hobbyists make more sense, and I can better understand short bed models from that.

yes I’m aware of all that except the “looks better” which is your opinion. My truck still has a rake just not as pronounced as it was. I’d probably need at least one more sandbag to make it completely level, maybe a little more
