Let's not forget Annie Green Springs. Everyone of those extremely cheap wines will make you sicker than a dog. Ask me how I know.
1973 we climbed up a fire escape to the roof of a 2 or 3 story building. We wanted a good view of Bob Hope as King Bacchus during the parade. The people on the floats couldn't throw the cheap trinkets, necklaces and Doubloons up to the roof top. In our drunken stupidity we started throwing gravel from the roof at them. They actually stopped the float and pointed us out to the police. Then we had to climb through a window into someones apartment, run down the back stairs to the alley and make our escape. Later that night, I felt like I barfed up 2 gallons of Cheap wine. Should have stuck with just smoking, and I would have been just fine. Yeah, Madi Gra was a blast.
