Don’t have calipers with me atm and had to find a bendy tape to get in there with the skids on but def not a full 2”

 

looks like you get to cut those off and upgrade to aftermarket cam tabs just to be able to align it lol

 

What's the actual width between the tabs, would a 2" cam fit between the cam tabs? I had new ones from Toyota installed when they welded the cam tabs in so I wonder if they are the same as what came off the truck, the old hardware was seized up bad and thrown out so I never even thought to compare it at the time.

 

It's always nice to have an excuse to upgrade. But I'm wondering if I ended up with the wrong cams now because they are too wide to fit properly between the rear tabs, I had just assumed it was a result of the people who welded then in for me so now I have to go back out there and measure the rear cams and cam tabs.

 

I’m thinking that the 95s are different and have smaller cams

 

Best I can measure right now is the gap is 1 7/8”, but I can’t get a tape straight in there well with the skids on so it’s not a scientific measurement

 

My spars measure just over 2 inches.

 

I wonder if you need the 85-95 pickup/4runner IFS cams

 

Yeah, everything measured about the same, idk what the alignment guy was talking about. But it does bother me the way they left several of my cams facing down to where they could be hit easier

 

Maybe James needs to re calibrate his tape measure

 

also worth checking lol, can see 1/8" out possible on an old tape

 

I’ll check again with calipers tomorrow, but I don’t think I’m off by that much
When I measured the cam diameter in the pic it was slightly off center and stretched the tape end out of square, but it measures at like 1 3/4”, I don’t think I’m over a 1/4” off there

I think Kira is right, grind them off and put the wheeler cam tabs (posted about) in and you'll never have to worry about it again

It’s funny you say that because I haven’t seen any raccoons in my neighborhood since I moved in. They were all over my old place further into town.

So it’s $60 per stray cat for spay/neuter. The shelter puts down like 20+ cats per week because of crazy cat ladies feeding them. They put down a ton of dogs too lately with all the strays. I had animal control come pickup an aggressive cat that attacking me while hiding behind a very large Toyota parts box. It was immediately put down since it was rabid or something. They will only show up for aggressive animals.

lol. Not far off from what my college roommates did. So the security system is because my F-150 was broken into. Not to mention all the theft going on and people that walk up and look into my garage, generally when they can’t see me under a vehicle. But others just walk up and pretend they’re selling something so they can get a better look.
