Love my cruzr platform. This reminds me I desperately need to ditch my Hawk sticks :anonymous: Maybe next year:spending:

Side note, do you always use an extra tether/lineman's for your platform? Thinking more about this, I assume the weight is probably still about equal to a cam buckle strap, and alot more utility having an extra tether than a 1-job platform strap :notsure: Would love to hear more about this.

It’s an amsteel rope just for the platform. Cinch it tight, cam the stand then do another (stand on upright and flip stand up with toe) to re-cam once I get on platform. The platform “HFAS” is lighter and quieter. Hunted last eve for first time and everything performed well. Honestly thought I’d forgotten my sticks when I was walking in since it was so noticeably lighter load. Been using muddy pros for years. They feel like a boat anchor now. These lattitude outdoor carbons are great.

Good thing we got the food plot cut in and sowed. 5 deer in the yard yesterday. I looked out the shop window and they paid me no mind.

Blue tongue would be my guess, fortunately, we haven’t found any around here yet considering how dry it’s been.

Interesting! So looks like its 3/16 (5mm) verses 5/16 (8mm) I'm using for my tether/lineman. Do you think a little larger rope would pose an issue considering the button size of most platforms? I could definitely see myself considering carrying an "extra tether" for my platform instead of the cam buckle strap. Seems like a dual purpose "tether" could come in handy for those troublesome trees where you're having to climb through branches/unhooking linemans to get over them. And although I already have a linemans, it never hurts to have a backup to your backup if you ever dropped a stick and needed to two-tether climb your way back down.
