    Toyota was the leader in hybrids but Ford just beat them with the PHEV Ranger.

    275hp/509Tq with an 11.8Kwh battery. No pics of where the battery is located (it's not in the bed), but it can't take up any more room under the back seat than the Tacoma. This is the hybrid configuration I wanted Toyota to release.

    This new Toyota platform is turning every truck into the exact same truck only smaller or larger with zero personality or character between anything. I am truly impressed.

    Sooner the better, IMO. I'd buy one if its offered with a 6-ft bed and might even buy one without it. Toyota has just been too slow and incremental with their truck redesigns.

    They may have beat them to market, but not sure their hardware and designs will be as confidence inspiring.
    Not great feedback at least here on the Electric mustang suv and F150 Lightning. They were in demand when released but people are catching on and not buying like they were when released.
    But have read somehwere there may be plug in options available on next Gen Taco. With the Rav4 Prime technology trickling down to other models.

    Ford is supposed to launch the Super Duty Hybrid in 2026, along with the SD refresh, Ford will be building SD in Canada and the existing US plants.
