New here. Is this group still active?

 

Define active...

 

Depends on what you call active. Most of us check the messages and threads. Since everyone is from all over the place, Ppl come and go from all over the country because DMV ppl come and go. We try to get together once in a while. Many ppl have changed out cars or busy with life so not as active as we used to be

I think we need to vote in a new leader. lol *Dave* @crashdb to set up the meet ups and what not

 

Who me?! I happen to fall under a few of those categories you mentioned! I used to run a local VW club. It was like a second job. Pass.

With that said (and you already know this), I'm in the thinking stages of a Uwharrie trip if anyone wants to join.

 

When are you trying to go again?

 

Hadn't really set a date, but I think the weekend before Veterans day is my aim.

You'll be a couple hours from us in TN. We have land outside Dunlap, just north of Chattanooga. AOP will be in between us and Windrock about 90 minutes north of us.

 

Sometimes it's lifesupport, sometimes not. As others said, there's been some turn over with life events and such. There are some new people in the area. We just need to find a good time to get everyone out.

Where are you?

 

Yup, we just put down an offer on a house down there. My wife is from ATL, and it was a decision we made to be closer to her family so they can help us once we have kids. We are closing on the 10/10 and start packing and moving down there first week of November.
