Food gets tossed if it has a "use by" date. There's more wiggle room if it's a "best by" date.

Meds - lose potency if they're old but still kind of work. Still best to just get new, though.

My nose and eyes provide the expiration date for everything in my house. It's good until it smells bad or looks like a science experiment.

 

I've had food poisoning twice and I don't want to ever be that sick. I'm always the one throwing food out..

 

Ive had that a few times also. 2 times was at 2 different restaurants

I've had food poisoning, (word to the wise, never order the special if it's fish) while not fun it's usually over quick.

Sickest I ever got was from a bad chicken parm from a restaurant in Gloucester (I was tired of having the freshest seafood one can get on this planet…)

Didn’t eat for at least 2 days afterwards. Didn’t have chicken parm for years after…

 

My wife got food poisoning when we were on vacation.

We were at Universal Studios and the kids wanted to eat at Krusty Burger. My wife can't have wheat so she got a salad. Laid her out for 2 days.

 

Asking a lot out of this poor little frontier I saw in the truck parking lot at work

 

Any creative repurposing for a rusted tailpipe and muffler before it goes to the scrap metal place?
