Easier said then done......I would love people to use logic like this but then people blow it up and ban all motorized vehicles.

 

It's an area by area thing too. Up here ATVs aren't really as much of an issue. Typically the only ones causing issues are the out of staters that move up here and decide they don't want ATVs driving up and down their road.

But then if you go up north to Jericho, you have all the rental people just sending themselves and to each other or trees

 

If they did you'd be looking for a new profession.

I had a response typed about legality and that ATVs already aren't allowed, but it's actually kind of a gray area....I guess. That land is owned by the Boy Scouts, OR the state of RI. The roads that go through CT are actually not privately owned, and the rules about the state of RI is unclear. They allow snowmobiles out there in some areas.... I will actually have to spend some time digging to find out.

Long of the short - I always knew it as completely illegal, period, but it wasn't strictly enforced.
