    Good morning!

Mark, Hope your wife is doing better!

What are they trying/using? Locally they are now using some previously taboo treatments.

Spent some more time out in the garage working on the boat. Plugged up the second hole (8x4) in the deck for the lifeline stanchion with epoxy coated plywood and thickened epoxy as “glue”. Next is to wash off the blush from the cured epoxy and then layer fiberglass over the hole.
    IMG_4084.jpg

Here’s a photo of the cabin top that I plugged on Monday with the same method.

^ That looks like it needs WAY more glass work than I ever did on any surfboards! Or that time the slaves on the oars mutinied and dad's 32' ended up on the jetty on a blustery exit attempt from the marina.

It’ll be quite a few layers when I’m done. I dread fiberglassing the underside, though.

I’ve done that in the past. Have to take it off the trailer first and suspend it from the rafters on straps. Then roll it over. It’s a lot of work.

I’ve put this one off for some time knowing it’s going to be a bear. I should have opted for a second story instead of a 17’ ceiling.
