Got ya. I know of one. And still stock no matter how many times I tell him I will install everything for free. But he loves it so I highly doubt he would sell but I will ask him.

Yeah that was always fun to watch.

 

Its sad to see the hollow shell that it has become since it was bought out.
The antics were funny but there was also a huge wealth of knowledge in the tech forums

 

So much knowledge and not just with one platform. All brands and types of wheeling.

 

So Ive had an inkling to eventually explore the North Rim/Arizona Strip.

What would be the wants/needs/must-haves for that kind of adventure?

 

E rated tires. Preferably 6 just in case.

Time lots of time it's a huge area and there's a ton to see especially if you're including north rim, white pocket etc in your plans.

As far as gear if you can't carry a 2nd spare having a good patch kit including sidewall patch kit would be good to have. Other than that just all the normal stuff you'd need for a long offroad adventure trip

 

Underground is sweet too

 

Here's me having just bought some new tires, too. But I have been looking around for a decent set of used tires to have for trips so Im glad to know thats the right idea.

Im guilty of watching too much Matt's Off Road Recovery and thats what he refers to it as, so it might be a Utah-term since the area is more accessible to southern Utah than it is the rest of AZ what with that big hole in the ground cutting it off from the rest of AZ.

I definitely do need a patch kit. Dont think Ill ever carry more than one spare unless theres a trailer involved.

And this is a "After-I-get-a-new-job" trip for sure. Havent had a week off in four years and Im fried.

One of the first 4G Tacomas I saw was an Underground TRD Sport and I definitely liked it. Thats a sweet color.

If I were to wrap my runner in any Toyota Lexus color though it would have to be Nori green pearl from the UX/IS/GX etc.

Metallic dark army green with just a hint of like, candy apple green in there with the metal flake.

Any year / make / model you wanted there was a couple of build threads on it and plenty of guys happy to tell you exactly what you were looking for at the pick and pull

Spruce Mica is one of the very best colors Toyota ever produced...
