So it’s happened to you ? I found my extra 2 keys and I guess I will hide them in the truck in case it happens again . :notsure: Mechanic is pretty sure it’s the key and not the immobilizer it’s self . My key was replaced in 2022 because of this same reason

Mine happened in a different fashion although it had similar symptoms. After going through the entire starting system, I found one of the starter cut out wires for the alarm system was not inserted firmly into the connector; what fooled me was it’s been working fine for years, and I’ve never touched the wires before.

I'm not speaking about anyone here I'm just throwing this out there.

Any of you text or directly message someone you think is a really good friend, almost daily?

I used to do that to several people, then I started doing it not as often, because of life.

Now, unless I text them I rarely here from them and if I do it's usually because they need something.

Guy I’ve been friends with for almost 30 years hasn’t contacted me unless he’s needed something for at least the last 5. If I call him and ask to go fishing or something sometimes he’ll go, sometimes he won’t, depends if he can get permission. 4 months ago he changed his phone number and didn’t tell me until I texted his dad to see if he was alright, cause he wasn’t answering his phone. I get a text a few days later saying sorry I got a new number a month ago and forgot to tell you. I didn’t bother saving the new number.

I only have one friend who is even on the texting front. Most everyone else I have to initiate the conversation. Unless they need something of course. That's life I suppose, good news is I'm content with just me and my wife and daughter. Only rarely do I miss the other contact

I would have done the same.

I called an old friend of mine one evening and he didn't answer. He text me almost immediately and said let me call you tomorrow cause I'm playing a board game with the kids before bed. I said no problem, that was 3 months ago.

We're thinking about Cole and y'all Creed. That boys got 9 othern's, lop that thing off and cauterize it. That'll toughen him up.

On a serious note, my wife is finally up and walking with a cane, carrying our baby and carrying on fairly normally. It's been an insanely rough few months since she slipped and broke her foot June 13th. It wasn't the broken bone that required the surgery, it was reattaching the ligament. My poor wife was bolted to the couch for 6 weeks post surgery. Things are finally looking up...

It's the same kinda deal with some of my friends and family back where I'm from in Kentucky. You hear from them about 3 weeks before spring break to see if they can come down and stay with us and go to the beach...naw they closed the beach down here, sharks r crazy right now

A few whom I do this with, mostly because they're not nearby anymore and it's late at night so chatting on the phone is not always viable.

Had quite a few drop offs like this through the years, my sister being one. Always too busy, always gonna..

Good luck with the surgery and best wishes for a full recovery with no lingering symptoms
Damn that incident seemed like years ago…. Glad to hear she’s doing better. Same goes for her too, best wishes for a full recovery with no lingering symptoms

Also, an honorable mention to you for manning up to get her to this point while taking on added family duties :101010:
