174,000 with zero issues so far. My truck idles for 12-14 hours a day while I work (keeping laptop cool in 105 degree weather). I work 6-7 days a week for 5-6 straight months. I wish I could see how many engine hours I have now, it has to be a ton. I am very meticulous about servicing this thing, I want it to go 500,000

That’s so great you’ve had zero issues with that much idle time. I have always been OCD about turning the truck off if my wife runs into a store or something and I’m waiting in the truck. I guess I don’t have to be as worried about that lol.

I’m at 63K now (2021 SR5 that I bought new). I estimate I’ll be a little over 70K by the end of next month, due to an upcoming cross country trip.

14 months from new, just passed only 4700 miles haha.

You're probably too far out of warranty to get your missing speedo needle replaced..... :p

121k on my 2019 that I bought in 2019 with 11k on it bone stock. Better shape than new, looks feels solid still. My Toyota mechanic at Hill Country Yota Works said its the cleanest Tacoma he works on.

Just hit 45k. Bought brand new in April 2022. April of 2023 I had a CV boot puncture that the dealer replaced in May caught a nice tree while crossing a flooded trail. In September of 2023 that same side had an axle seal leak that the dealer warrantied. Other then that it’s been routine maintenance and the trucks been flawless.IMG_1641.jpg

So far no issues! I may try to swing into the local Toyota dealership and see if they can read my total hours. I have been pretty nervous about how long it runs, but I really have no choice. I am a crop consultant and spend 80% of my day outside while my truck idles next to corn and cotton fields all day. If it weren’t for my computer in the cab, I would shut it off while I am out of the truck.

Well I would definitely be interested to hear the number if you ever find out the total idle hours.

I’ll see if I can sneak over to the dealership next week sometime. I live about 45 min away but maybe I’ll get a chance to go by there. I’ll post what they tell me.
