I called the dealership on the rack (it may help that my stepdad worked there for many years) and they are going to exchange the parts for me so I won't be rebuilding the rack after all. I will have to go pick it up in person for the exchange but the gas money and 8 hour trip is worth not having to eat the $450.

8 hours round trip to Larry Miller in Murray UT. The closest would be Steven Wade in St George but I haven't had much luck in my past dealings with them even when my brother was working their. They also don't have an online parts store and they don't offer delivery. I've been able to get them to ship parts for larger orders to the local Napa in the past but it was like pulling teeth just to get that plus it gets sketchy dealing with 18 different middle men

I'm sure you've done this already... but have you taken the consumables off and purged the air line entirely. Just wonder if a little bit of something was in to causing the air to dogleg

I did, but not to intentionally purge the line but to ensure psi did not fluctuate with or without consumables installed; Hypertherm asked for me to do that

I do always purge the line though before cutting the way you'd hold your MIG gun and let gas run through it before welding

Inspected the consumables for imperfections and caught bullshit?
