Ditch lights and light bars. I don't wheel at night, so I have all this cash in lights I randomly turn on each week to make sure they are still in working order.

    Yeah.
Do you have a short or long bed? I have one for a short bed you can have for cheap if you come pick it up in NWA. It was used in my 2012 and my 2018 until I got a Decked system, so it's not in "new" condition, but it is not damaged.

Nothing so far but I have not gone hog wild.

    ARE CX Classic camper shell.
Warn winch and bumper with Bilken front shocks.
Hondo Garage cell phone holder with dash clips.
    Front seat covers.

I have a set of Total Chaos bed stiffeners but have not installed them yet and may not. No extra loads anticipated on the camper shell and no rock crawling in my future. The next modification will likely be a GMRS radio. I have the license, just have not decided on the radio.

I have no ragrets with mine. I like trying new mods. If it works, it stays, if not, I try and resell it.

I don't regret mine at all but if I had a tonneau or topper, dragging things out of the bed would get old. It can tend to grip too well when you have to load heavy stuff and the mat rolls/bunches up instead of letting the part slide towards the cab.

i don't really regret it. it can be very useful keeping things from sliding around. i just don't use it and therefore don't lug its weight around for no reason. with my tonneau cover and partition, i use bungees to secure things like a tote behind the partition. but i do have it in case i ever need it for what it is designed for. and sitting in the same garage i have a piece for 4x8 plywood cut to fit for hauls that are severe and might damage the mat. i'm covered, but my point was, for me, it is rare i need the mat. we all use our trucks differently.

as far as removing the tonneau cover, here is what i did. i suspended a small block and tackle from the garage ceiling and added extended supports off an already existing ceiling suspended rack. when i want to remove the cover, i drive under the block and tackle and raise the cover to the height of the supports and swing/push it on. easy peazy. before i did that, the weight and size of cover made it almost undoable for one person, occasionally slipping and crashing onto the truck bed rails. no damage but it was coming.

edit: you could just leave it dangling in midair and drive under it to reinstall. supports were just easy for me.

I wasn't a fan of the LEER 100XR cap I bought. I didn't regret it, but didn't care for it. No matter what I did I couldn't stop it from leaking and the rear window gap was ridiculous. But the whole ordeal taught me how to seal the bed.

I don't regret my Icon RXT rear leafs, but I took a chance on the complaints about squeaks/creaks and was hoping spring liners would resolve it, but they didn't. It's not loud and not enough to irritate me... yet. So I'm curious if I'll regret that purchase soon.

The one thing I DO regret is not regearing sooner.

It's not a mod, but you could say I "regret" getting a Pro over a OR Premium. I don't know that I would have spent less because I would have just found a lower mileage OR for the same price, but now I don't want to get rid of the Fox suspension and it really limits options for a lift.

I guess right now I regret buying a VFTuner kit, but that could change later on if I decide to look into other tunes. I ordered it because I needed a retune for the gears, the closest tuner is a 4 hour trip away and was difficult to get a hold of and I was on a time crunch, well then VF took a month to ship and by the time I got it I was already forced to make the 4hr drive to get retuned. Now I have it and not sure I'll ever need it.

My truck is equipped as it was when it rolled off the lot brand new with the lone exception, and regrettable, being the spare tire wheel lock. I bought this truck back in April,IMG_2407.png it came with everything but the spare lock key, was a pain it the ass to remove it.

I’ve learned to love the truck as is …so not one penny spent on mods- hell, I’m still on the original tires.
Btw, I love the oem bed mat; sticky enough to keep things from sliding but firm enough to easily slide things in and out.

i'm not sure what the spare tire lock is from the dealer, but i just put a padlock thru the hanging chain, squirt a little WD-40 in the hole and give a couple wraps of tape to keep the dust out. i tape the key to the extension needed to crank the spare up and down.

Interesting. This is something I've been reading about, so I'm glad to hear your take. No benefits at all?

On the OEM side, I got an SR which is what I wanted but the only one available near me had the TSS package and then Gulf States adds on window tint, ppf, and some other crap.

The PPF sucks and already has black lines on the edges, everything with the TSS package is useless to me other than the tires and has already been removed or replaced. I also want to change the window tint to something darker and ceramic so it actually works here in Texas. Basically, everything that was added on top of the SR is a regret for me. Luckily I got them to knock $8k off the sale price when I bought since they couldn't find one without any add-ons.

So far I like all of my mods done.

Honestly, my Diamondback HD cover. Not that it’s a bad cover, but didn’t suit my needs/wants.

Yes, it’s really good quality and it is very secure. Top notch customer service too.

However, it doesn’t have much bed access without taking the cover off.

I still highly recommend that cover, if you want a secure cover and don’t need much bed access all the time.

I’m debating on a Retrax unit or maybe the Diamondback Switchback (not as much bed access, but still more than the HD).
