    Higher lift greater duration but more overlap, better for high revving, you'd make more power in a 5VZ-FE with those cams but you'd lose some low end grunt. It's why I didn't bother taking the cams when I took the 3VZ-FE forged crank. It truly is a whole ass truck engine crammed in a car though.

    Yeah, it might need the V6 but I do remember seeing them and I've read some blog articles on it.

    Damn effects of this virus just won't go away whatever it is. Lost my voice yesterday afternoon and today I sound like Marlon Brando from godfather

    Should be a pretty good reason to not do my work meeting today

    The sad thing is, I know this guy from back in school....photography school. He should know exactly why this is. Being this dumb is a concerted effort I swear.

    It's a virtual meeting, we rarely have them in person anymore since covid. Took the first couple days of the week off, feel fine now other than my voice for whatever reason.

    I'm the only one ever in the studio anyway unless we're doing a joint project, so I'll just put a hazmat sign on the door to dissuade any peers from coming in.

    @Speedytech7

    if you were too cheap to buy filler wire and specific gasses for welding a stainless muffler to a mild steel tailpipe, would you just clamp it ? Asking for my lazy cheap self.

    If you have a working MIG, use it and paint the weld with hi-temp paint. Stainless welds excellent with normal mild filler

    Ok good to know, I’ve never tried. I googled it and ended up in SEO hell.

    I found a nice Vibrant muffler on summit, so we’ll give that a shot when time allows.

    thanks!

    Through the miracle of a photo guy that knows what he was doing, and photo editing software, was able to ressurrect this over exposed on old film photo from last years new mexico trip :laughing: I want to blame the light meter on the camera, but I know I'm also just super rusty with a manual camera. Looks better printed I'm afraid.

    How big of a kink in the exhaust pipe would it take to affect performance?
