    Wonder what they weigh?

My Hustler has some for when the vacuum is on, they weigh about 100 lbs each. If they aren't on, it will raise the front tires off the ground :anonymous:

The mower drives awful with all the weight on it but it does good at getting leaves up.

    Thanks bud!

My problem is it's not nice enough for a garage, but it's a bit good for the pole barn it is. Lol

Lots of messy dirty, loud, fume work happens in there & then the endless dust.

Alright Alright.... since the current fad is VIDEOS in this thread, here's mine. But it's a link to my gas struts review on Amazon, since I've never done a YouTube video. :)
Bathing suit and flip-flops for the win.. It's still HOT in this subtropical climate . . . :D

bucking the fad, there will be no video...... ;-)

I was doing a pre-season look at the Kubota B2789 snow blower this afternoon.
One of the impeller blades was binding on the housing. Pessimistic me, was all in a worry about a bent shaft or impeller (4 blade)

I removed the discharge chute thinking to get a pry bar in. But even that top port didn't really give leverage access to the rubbing blade.

Then I got to looking hard at each blade gap to the housing. There was a stone lodged against the back side of the blade OPPOSITE of the blade that was rubbing. It took some real hammer blows in some sheet material to get that stone to drop out.
Sure, that stone would have rubbed it's self away in short time, leaving a groove and damage until it did. Or, I would have made a mess of the impeller trying to bend the blade that wasn't at fault.

Sure made me glad to be a "what IS the real problem" kind of mechanic. And the discharge chute has never run more easily! ;-)

    Let it SNOW!

Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't use the "discharge chute".

    Crocs for the WIN!

I used this in another croc related post but it cracks me up.

speaking of the dsihcharge chute... do any of you guys use those flapper things instead?

the ones that stop dishcharge while you go around something you dont want stuff thrown in?

they kinda pricey, but think it would be handy... input?

Well, blades came in this week. Look pretty impressive and feel pretty solid for something made in China.

Guess I'll throw them on today and try them out. Need to find some Rotella T6 10w30 for the fall oil change. I'm out of my VR1 10w30 syn and the replacement cost has sky rocketed. :goingcrazy:

I also need to buy a battery, but it's too close to the end of the season. I'll just keep jump starting it with my little jump pack

Replacing the gas strut on my Pioneer box with an electric actuator has been on my todo list for years now lol.

Looks good. I looked at a Mule when I bought my Pioneer, but for some forgotten reason went the way I did. I think it was a leftover model and I got a discount.
