Good for You. I bought mine new, ans still don't see a rig I would rather have. It's a truck after all.

Life is short, Drive it like you stole it!

    enjoy!

    p.s.

    Red is the fastest color!~

I have the Access cab, at times I wish I had the Long bed four door, but then rational thinking returns and I realize those back seat suck in both configurations!

I didnt know that about RAV$ knobs. Yes... the Tacoma knobs are so tiny. Adding that to my needs list.
Agreed about the bed mat. Rough country is what I went with very grippy!
Seat covers, rough country there too. Affordable but a PITA to install.
Floor mats - Husky Xact fit have a great coverage area especially by the sill.

Those are the only "mods" I have done.
Yes... that Army green would be my only choice over the Ice Cap.

Rubberized coatings are like an 'inert' barrier. It might keep water out for a while, but if anything gets behind it, it now holds that water against the metal.

Oil /wax / grease coatings are like an 'active' barrier. They soak into the pores of the metal, but may wear off after a while. Re-apply as needed.

It's like the farmers who would take the old oil after an oil change and use it to spray down their tractors. Dirt, hay, bugs would stick to it and accumulate. Spray more oil, accumulate more dust and dirt. And 50 years later, you could scrape off the caked-on oily crud and the tractor looked like new.

Two things you might notice. You truck is about as long as a pre 2022 Tundra excluding its rear bumper. Your payload (which includes people in the truck) is less than 1000 pounds. I am barely over payload rating if I carry a 625 pound quad in the bed with my wife and I in the truck. I love my truck.

"I found a 2021 TRD Offroad 4wd with a 6’ bed for 39,750. It was an Army Green color."

Welcome to TacomaWorld. Good fine, and be happy. But clarification, the cost for your 2021 TRD OffRoad is $39,750? It is around the same, or less then brand new Tacoma. If I'm wrong, I have learn how to read better.
