Depends where and what. I don't just cruise aimlessly, but I'm out late one night a week most of the time if it's league night.

I only shot darts a few times.

I did play in a bowling league for a couple years.
100% spend the money on your own ball. Right from the start. It’s worth it.

Thursday I went up with my oldest to get her first MX bike. Now the training begins to train her for motocross/GNNC racing (hopefully)

I still have my candlepin balls from age 4..haha.

Over 25 yrs playing I've amassed an obscene amount of dart stuff. Some are just collector things I don't use though.

    NICE.....

    I remember my first.
    The old rugged Z50R.
Then it was an XR80, then a CR125, and KX250.

I never got into motorcross. My brother raced a lot.
    I just liked to ride.

Then transitioned over to the street.
    And got my GSXR (600 & 750)

I still remember when I took the AMA motorcycle education and riders safety course. (To get my M endorsement)
The instructor took one look at the way I was "holding" the brake and clutch levers.
He said, looks like you ride dirt bikes. I'm going to need all finger ON or OFF the clutch levers at the same time.

By the end of the course, the instructor was trying to get me to buy a BMW touring bike.
We actually got a long really well after he seen that I could actually "ride".

The only reason I took the AMA course was to make my parents happy. The DID NOT want me to get a street bike.
I thought I was going to HATE the course. But no, it was fun.
I think about 30% of the people there failed. Slow speed figure 8's got a lot of people.

I am done with this job.

When I work weekends, I always have off the Friday before and the Monday after.

The boss scheduled our sole part-time guy to work this weekend without consulting him first. He works a full-time job in addition to his one, and this was supposed to be his weekend off. He works 7am-3pm every other weekend, and didn’t want to work this weekend.

One of the managers asked a part-time server who’s helped me before if he could work two doubles this weekend to help me out. He agreed.

Unbeknownst to me, the server also worked like 12pm-8pm yesterday, washing dishes. His shift overlapped with the part-time dishwasher, who left at 3pm yesterday when his shift ended…

I don’t know what the fuck happened, but the part-time server who was supposed to help me this morning got almost nothing done. He left a metric shit-ton of pots and pans in the sink and on the carts, and didn’t take any of the trash out. I have a distinct feeling that he got overwhelmed, just clocked out at 7pm, and left. Today, he called out.

One of the cooks came in this morning at like 5am to start his shift, found the mess that the other guy had left, and promptly texted pictures to one of my managers (who is the executive chef); I believe the closing manager comes in at like 7am on weekends.

So, the executive chef took it upon himself to wash the dishes that part-time kid left, so I wouldn’t walk into a shitshow and become overwhelmed. He had another one of the servers help me for a few hours, so I am mostly caught up.

I am presently at home to let Porter out because my parents are in Cape May for the weekend.

As everybody knows, I am waiting to hear back about an in-person interview for the warehouse position at Fred Beans, but even if I don’t get that job I am incredibly likely to put in my two weeks at this one anyway.

I also applied at the Halloween store and am willing to work that through October while I look for a permanent job that I actually want!”

On another note, there is a supposedly a new part-time dishwasher who was supposed to start last Friday. I have heard he is still filling out paperwork and they are waiting for his background check to come back; I am sick of this shit!

Charlie , I feel you but things aren't perfect always. Sometimes u get the shaft and other times others get the shaft. That's the down side of working for the man. I know it seems not fair .... but sometimes u have to make it fair... sort of.... it does help to have a long serious talk with ur supervisor and explain all ur grevoiuses.
    I know I can't spell. :(

    Like I said last week.
You can only do, what you are able to do.
If you're doing all you can to keep up. And you are still behind, It's not your fault.
It's the managers fault. That's why he's the manager.

As to how the manager fixes the problem, I can't say.
    There are always options.

    But it's not your problem.

Just keep doing your best until you find a job that you feel like better suits you.

If you ever get called in to the bosses office, slam the door shut behind you as hard as you can. When the boss asks why you slammed the door shut, tell him it’s for “effect” then smile, sit down and put your feet on his desk. Do not quit.
