I actually do pay attention when I'm driving. I learned years ago, in the flip phone era the dangers of that when I almost rear ended someone typing to answer to a text message. Since then I never have the phone in my hand whilst driving. I use Android Auto with the truck, Phone stays in the center console. If I can't do something on the Radio screen, with the steering wheel controls or by asking Google, then I either don't need to do it or I need to pull over to do it.
You are right driving and operating a vehicle takes your full attention.
Another thing that drives me crazy is the people on there phones doing Facebook, Insta, Tick Tok or whatever at red lights holding us up because they aren't paying attention the light is GREEN! This is when I Lay on the horn till they move.

Quite the lengthy conversation evolved over my simple post stating that I finally got off my ass and did a front disc and rotor replacement. Without fluid replacement or, touching the rear drum brakes (where, in my opinion I will probably change 3 sets of disc pads before the drums will even need attention) and when it gets to that point I take it to my brother’s transmission and auto shop and get it taken care of, (and it costs me parts and lunch) because when it comes to the technical shit, like rear drum brakes replacement, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
But I have new brakes and rotors and, the truck stops on a dime.

That’s funny. I’ve got an OR and I think certain colors look better with color matched flares. A more monochrome look. White, LR among others.

 

I like the black bed decal. I think I might replace my sport 4x4 decal with something black at some point. Not sure if I want to do a stock-ish looking one like yours, or something a little more custom looking, like some I've seen on Etsy

Got around to peeling the pillar vinyl. I’ve done this on every other vehicle I’ve had, dunno why it took me so long with this one. I find it breaks up the contrast and makes the taco look shorter.

 

I've been torn to do this with my Inferno.

I still like the Pro, but I’m still glad I purchased the 23 Off Road new instead of the Used Pro at the time! Same suspension plus a 1/4 top hat shim, an inch taller tires (265/75-16) for a total of 2.5” front, added the 1/2” rear oem spring spacer and feel like it could use the 1” instead.

 

Aired out the tent and did some last minute prep for Overland Expo East. I'll be volunteering there this year, so if you see a bearded dude covered in tattoos selling raffle tickets feel free to say what's up!


I also finally got around to losing the last bit of chrome. I just plastidipped the bumper caps for now until I get a steel bumper down the road.

 

The older it gets the harder it is to peel off. Easy to do otherwise. The leftover glue is the worst part.
