I have basically all of those tools. I need someone with a mill. I need a piece of aluminum roughly " 2"X3/4" x1.25" with a channel cut on each side of one edge to fit in a slot with 2 holes drilled through. It's not a big part, but cutting the channels would be easier with a mill

Anyone ever mount a bike rack to the front mount 2” hitch successfully? Asking for a friend!

Seen some older full size trucks do that while towing a 5th wheel or camping trailer locally. Usually smaller bikes, TW200's etc.

Why would you put that on the front? Your truck will never be able to handle that up front.

There are companies that made hidden front hitch mounts for winches, but they aren't weight rated. You'd need some super heavy springs

Possibly not, the bigger hitch is rated for #600lbs vertical load, the hidden hitch looks beefier but has no ratings.
I know some plow set ups are over #450lb. I’m not opposed to swapping out the factory fox springs.

Got her loaded up today and home, she got a quick bath when we got home, now time to start tearing into her.

She’s got damage to the plastic on both sides from being dropped, she hasn’t been laid down so that’s good.

Wait until you all hear how much of a budget busting cost she was!

Noice! That bike is very similar to the reason I'd like a Busa, comfortable with smooth power, and plenty of it

Will you even be able to see with a T7 sitting bumper height in front of you in a Tacoma? Even then, heavy springs with no load on the front are going to be horrendous for daily.

Daaaaamn, free motorcycles are the best kind of motorcycle. Hopefully you're able to find a set of used plastics for cheap.

Why don't you want it on the rear? Camper/trailer?

It was just a thought while I was in Colorado last month with a camper behind me. I’ve hauled it out on the back of my k2500 a couple yrs ago during Elk season.
I agree it’s probably too much bike for the t-yota.
I think my daughters 89 Xr250l would be fine also a great place for the e-bike when pulling the camper.

Oof a carrier of that style. I hated mine when I tried one like that.

Went rack-n-ride and haven't given it a thought since. They do make an adv bike rack. But agree it might be much for the tacoma.

just a couple of things tbh
Went and got the tires back today and looked at bikes per usual lol.

I really liked the transalp tbh but idk what I'd do with it haha. Tbh if I'm adding another bike I'd like to have a supermoto again. An adventure bike would be nice but I feel I wouldn't use it to much tbh.

Next we have the little xr150 lol this was what my gf liked and was comfortable to sit on so she has her sights set on this bike for once she gets a few things paid off. 3600 otd ain't to bad for brand new.

Then me just fining a really neat helmet lol

Still no real hits on the FZ1. I really don’t expect to sell it until next year. My cycle trader ad has had just over 150 views, my offer up has had almost 1058 views. CL and Facebook don’t have the stats so not sure. Come on it only takes one.
I really only have about $5500 into the FZ1. I paid $4500 and had it shipped for $500 then put another $500 into it. Yes I did sell it for 7k then bought it back for 7k so basically made money then spent it to get it back so pretty much even. So if I get 6k that is my break even number and the lowest I would take for it. Although I haven’t got any offers that I would consider. I guess if I wanted I could just drop it to 6k firm but when I look for bikes I don’t like firm prices. I want to think I got a deal so getting it for less then asking always makes me feel good. That is why I listed it higher so someone could offer what I really want.
