i want to do a 2" lift and leveling kit and i don't know where to begin. i also need to determine new rim size and tires. i would like to run with steel rims with bead locks. and what manufactures can i trust? i am not trying to rock crawl, more expedition trail riding.

Going to be painfully honest - this is NOT the place to get advice (there is a lot of bad advice given on these pages) - do your research and also personally talk to folks who are doing what you want to do. I have no idea what "expedition trail riding" is and probably most people on here are not sure either so they are just going to assume what they think you mean - so there is that. And why on earth do you think you need bead locks?

Here are the trail ratings that are pretty much universal -
    https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/blog/a-guide-to-off-road-technical-trail-ratings
My wife's Subaru Outback could easily do 1-3 (although she would never take her baby off pavement)
A stock Tacoma Off Road can do 1-6 without a problem (when I got my new 2022 TRD Off Road I couldn't wait and did some 4 and 5 bone stock) - but if you are new to off roading then work your up as you gain experience. As you gain experience you will meet people (off road folks are the most friendly and helpful of any hobby I know) and you will get good practical advice. Everyone has their favorite brands of shocks and tires and wheels and so on. But if you are just going to go camping or just want to go on nice trips down forrest roads and maybe trails 1-4 for example (I no real idea what you want to do with your truck) no one is going to recommend bead locks (they are noisy, you have to keep them torqued properly and oh, BTW the are not street legal, although no one ever gets stopped running them).

You can get pretty far with those OR bilsteins. If you wanted an upgrade, 6112/5160 combo is great. Paid less than $900 for everything on rockauto. The front can be adjusted to 2” lift

I second that, it's what I have for a mild lift and rides better than stock.
