Worst pain I have ever been in. They sent in a SXS with no pain medication. Got flown out b/c no local hospital had ortho.
Nope. Went in a rut, hit a rock, wheel perked and my foot caught a root perfectly. Bike didn't even slide, just stopped once I fell. I was able to save my boots though. Medic couldn't belive I was able to get them off

I think it's fine. @Modern.Hermit was kind enough to get it to his house.

In Italy for work this weekish stretch. Im amazed how many bikes I am seeing. A lot of KTMs but also a WILD amount of GS/GSAs. Like every other one is a BMW.

Not sure what the rules are, but the amount of highschool age looking kids on dirtbikes is also kinda jarring.

Surprising to hear. Think you'll go to a different boot? Only way to get any more protection.
Pretty sure they can get small bike licenses (200 and below? before big bikes/cars

Talking to my coworkers today at lunch, 50cc and under is at 14, 16 is for 125 and under and then big bikes can be ridden at 18.

Kinda wild the juxtaposition to be in an ancient walled city, in the foreground of a church built in the 1200s and a kid on a orange KTM comes ripping up the "road" which is a little wider than a sidewalk.

Can’t believe how many used zx4rr for sale right now. 2024 40th anniversary, exhaust , tune ect for 9k. Seems like they are loosing a lot of money. All stock 23 for 9k, another 23 with exhaust and tune ect for 9k. All with under 1500 miles.
Makes me wonder why? Is it really just a niche bike?? Do they need to make it a true small displacement super sport with aluminum frame, and a wet weight around 360lbs?

All the new riders from this year think they're ready to move up to something faster.

Well got a hit on the FZ1. Only thing is the guy is from Arizona but seems serious. Trying to figure out if he wants to ship it, fly and ride or drive and ride with friends. We will see. Actually talked on the phone so that a positive. Again not holding my breath but is encouraging.

Good reminder for everyone that if they ride they should have some kind of life flight insurance (if available in your area, of course). Hopefully you're able to get the pain managed soon.

Absolutely, I believe it's available everywhere, and has reciprocity with other states. It saves tens of thousands of dollars for just $85 a year

I'm looking at plan enhancers. Low cost and can get enough coverage to cover anything decent

Not directly tied to moto but another step to hopefully getting the car out of my garage.

Drove around a few blocks and I think it's ready to be out if we get a decent car cover.
