Well I'm planning to take a day off (minimum) per week in October for some upland bird hunting (ruffed grouse). Mid week is nice as there are far less people (cuz I hate people....lol) in the woods. And I'm hoping to take from Thanksgiving week to the end of the year off for some deer, waterfowl, and more upland bird hunting. No moose tag for me this year (lottery system).

And I think there's a new system here now where you can purchase doe tags online for certain zones, I may look into that for some freezer meat.

    Yourself?

Saturday day trip was great! Weather could not have been better, a welcome and pleasant surprise. :) Made for a very scenic and pleasant drive down and back. I let my wife take all the pics, only have two from texts she copied me on ... hafta get some of the better ones from her tomorrow afternoon when she gets home from work.

And this one made me laugh, my wife trying to get pic of Mt Spurr earlier in drive, she started standing on door sill, then hopped down and walked over to fence ... I looked down at floorboard and saw her boots ... she walked across that gravel in her socks ... she sure gets focused on getting the shot. o_O  ❤️
