I'd like to get a newer drill with the chuck lock feature. I did get another used drill pretty cheap on auction but it doesnt have the chuck lock either

most of it comes down to a liability thing. if someone slips/trips/falls on the sidewalk, the town has offloaded the maintenance of the sidewalk onto the resident so they can't get sued-- each individual resident is liable for damages...

my local towns are the same way. i love clearing the snow, as does my neighbor, so it's never been a problem for us. but plenty of entitled/oblivious people are starting to move in, and it's becoming a larger issue where many of them just don't even own a snow shovel

    I have 4.

A 30" metal push shovel that needs to get tossed, two 36" Snowplow pushers with a UHMW blade and a long handled grain shovel for the present the plow leaves at the end of the driveway.

On most upper line cordless drills after you tighten the chuck you turn the collar back (like to loosen) and it will click, this is the chuck lock. Turning the collar further will loosen it as normal.

I just buy a new tool for each bit instead of changing the bits

Good afternoon friends!! Hope everyone has an awesome day!!!

Remember the mailbox redo I started a few months ago? I finally got it done yesterday.

    Before.....

After getting done I got my wife to go with me and she painted names and numbers on the front of them. She's a great artist.

As we were there "the" neighbor came down in her car.

She said "now it looks like we live in an apartment complex".

I said "at least it looks like we moved out of the trailer park".

No offense to anyone who lives in a trailer park, I could care less where you live or what your mailbox looks like, I just wanted ours to look better cause my OCD.

If you download Citgo's app and add the pay with your phone part you get 50 cents off your first fill up, up to 30 gallons. I took my gas cans and got 26 gallons for...

I know, I’ve learned she’s got something negative to say about everything. I just roll on and let her be negative.

    Thanks! :fistbump:
