    Just don't move it into the sun too fast, because the plasti dip kind of mold itself as it dries and you don't want it drying too fast and clumping up.

    Sounds like u need a sharper knife. Mine was completely dry and I had to cut twice but peeled off perfectly.

    I will let the fender still taped up dry and try it but I think I'm gonna do the notecard trick. How long till it drys?

    Actually it's a stupid question... just remove the film, it'll take 2 mins with some heat.

    ... maybe it's not a stupid question but why go through the hassle when you can just take the film off really easy.

    I personally would try it over the film, if it doesn't work just peel the plastidip off

    It is definitely worth it. They don't chip so in the long run they will pay you back. I have been to the desert a few times with em' and have had the truck completely covered in mud and they hold up very well.

    If you scuff them with a 3M red scuff pad and use a quality self etching primer they should hold up well. I've had good luck with that method in the past.

    My first post! I have a 2010 Taco TRD Sport... going to begin my mods this weekend with plasti-dipping the emblems and tinting my tail lights. I'll put pics up afterwards... thanks for all the info everyone! I love this site.
