    Evening all:

Congrats also to you and your new bride Greg!

Both of those trail cams take pretty good Pics. bucktails, seems like the Brownings get pretty high ratings. I have a Bushnell out on the property, seems to work pretty decent, hate to go too high end, there are people who like to collect them plus a bear can do a number on them.

I set up a trip wire bomb using a 1/4 stick down by the pond , so far the bear hasn't used the access I set it up on, but he's/she's been at the pond. I just poured some corn syrup on a log where the trip wire is at, maybe that will attract it, if not I may need to get a couple donuts and put them on the log :D, then :fingerscrossed: that my DIY tripwire bomb works.

Saw a bad wreak at a known bad intersection yesterday. One of several I've seen there over the years. Often, we will go the extra mile to avoid the area... looks like that is a good decision.

Back to 80* today. Hopefully Dry enough to install the Bearing Buddies in the Casita.
We got 3/4” of drizzle! AWESOME! That’s more than the total since May! Things instantly looked greener. Natural water is so much better than the chlorinated faucet water!
    Kettlebell day!
Granddaughter was so frustrated when she got home from work. A couple came in and grabbed a bunch of clothes and shoes, then just walked out. She felt like she should have done something to stop them besides asking them not to steal the clothes.
Immediately called the police. They arrived within two minutes, but the tattooed couple were long gone. Sad the world has come to this. No one respects anything any more.
Such are the times I guess.
What ever, make this a special day! Try doing something creative like a comical self portrait?

Society is a train wreck right now and I predict it's only going to get worse.
The sad part is I see so much good everyday and then the people like that just depress me. I try not to dwell on those types of people and see the good in in the world. I'm not normally an optimist and more of a realist but holding my head high and seeing that there is good in this world helps with my mental sanity and how I treat people.

I'm not a fan of hot sauce either; I would much rather render chili peppers to make my food hot and spicy. Yesterday I made some venison chili where I started with a half-pound of smoked (not chemically cured) bacon and a dozen or so hand-chopped habanero peppers and some Himalayan salt until the bacon bits were starting to get crispy; then I added four huge onions finely chopped and cooked them at very low temperature until they were practically mush. Once I had the flavor base built, I browned the venison, also at a low temperature, and let the meat simmer for maybe a half hour. After that I added crushed tomatoes and black beans and let the whole concoction simmer for a few hours; geez, I can't wait for lunch, just writing this is making my mouth water.
