‘Ol girl got her 90K check up this afternoon. Oil change, tire rotation, rear diff fluid, cabin air filter, MAF sensor and throttle body cleaned. I took my time and everything went well. This was the first time I’d done the throttle body. Very easy to do, and it wasn’t as dirty as I expected. She’s shiny now! I did replace the gasket while I had it apart.

Last time I changed the rear diff fluid at 60K, I made sure both the drain and fill plugs were torqued to factory spec. But goodness gracious I didn’t think I was ever gonna get the fill plug out. It was extremely tight and started to round out the corners when I did get it loose (!!). Drain plug was no problem at all. Might pick up a spare fill plug at some point just in case I have another problem next time.

Do you know the required machine specs or have a link? Kind of wish I would have gone BFG instead of another set of Toyo AT3's after seeing this.

Right! I said the same thing! I had already purchased the trd beadlock.

These are the caps I bought for my beadlock since the OEM caps were non existent for a while.
    Specs say DIAMETER : 102.5MM (4″)

I see get YouTube videos about Plasti Dip, and Hyper Dip coatings for rims, besides the TVD Vinyl option. Apparently, can get Plasti Dip from Home Depot, most convinient in my location.:D

Those look like the Gorilla Automotive spline lug nuts, although there are other spline brands. Fairly common for Tacomas with aftermarket wheels. Nothing really special about them, just make sure the size (including thread depth) and base shape fit your wheels and the thread size is for your Tacoma. My stock (TRD Sport) wheels used different lug nut base type than my aftermarket wheels. Wheel manufacturer should specify type of lug nuts required.

I'm sure you could get a "key" from Gorilla to get them off, but not sure how you would determine which key you need to match them. Couldn't hurt to call them, I'm sure they've heard the situation before. There is probably only a limited number of keys, but probably difficult to procure a whole set to try. Here are the lug nuts I have (they are Gorilla brand):

I didn't either. But recently did with the brake job on my wife's sedan. It made a big difference in eliminating mush in the brake system. I will do that on all brake jobs going forward.

    Brand new.

The only catch they have is that i drill 4 holes thru the old cover and send them pictures to continue with the present warranty that runs out the end of October, However i was able to fix the part of the cover that was coming apart and stretch it back into place and glue it down, yes it is temporary until it comes apart again.

So here is my question to you all. Do i keep the original cover on my truck and keep the new one as a spare so when the first one comes apart completely i will have a new one to put on or do i do as they say and drill holes in it and install the new one?
    Thoughts?

If it were me id buy some star sockets heat them up jam them on and see if you could unthread the lug nuts and then if you do get them off , install oem lug nuts and an oem locked lug nut
