Has anybody installed bed rails on their truck with the resin plastic built-in bed liner? I've got an 09 DC and I don't think I've seen any pics of rails on the later model Tacomas. Is there a reason why it can't be done?

Our trucks do not have "bed liners". That is the bed...it is ALL plastic. Mighty tough plastic though...

I wouldn't say plastic... more like composite fiber.

I think he's talking about the round tubes, usually polished or chrome, that you stick into stake pockets or attach to the sides of the bed.

If you want to use the post pockets you can remove the plastic cover real easy that keeps our trucks looking nice and clean and then they have the post pockets if i remember correct.

( I removed mine to clean out the dust under them)
