You know, I was actually thinking "I can't imagine a situation where a 6x6 Discovery would be better than a 4x4 unless maybe you've got oil money and want to hoon through the desert".

due to foreseen circumstances the ram was unable to make the trip

 

I never played any of the Playstation variants, and I remember every time I saw a commercial for a new release, it made me want to play it

I'm playing the PC port and it's been done really well; the game plays just as smoothly and detailed as the cinematics

How is the price of truck registration in Colorado? Do you have to smog in the Denver suburbs?

 

short answer: In major metro areas you will have do do an emissions test every other year for gas vehicles, Annual for diesel (also costs more, has to be done at private shops).

registration is based on retail value of the vehicle. my Tacoma is like $71 to register...my f350 is $300

stuff you may want to know:

The state is slowly adopting CARB standards but the minimum you need to pass is a tailpipe test, OBD2 for smog indicators, and OBD2 check for stock tune. you won't face scrutiny for aftermarket parts if those conditions are met (they don't even pop the hood).

If you fail emissions twice in a row you get sent to the inspector and they'll do a visual for CARB approved parts etc. This may change and become part of the regular emissions going forward but there's no publications indicating plans to do so

 

That sounds exactly like the CA process, at least as far as I've experienced it. Except 2000+ vehicles don't get tailpipe tested, only 1999 and older. 00+ is just OBDII scan and visual.

 

That seams pretty standard for a metro aria. Reno is the same, outside of Vegas and Reno no smog. I just paid $71 for the 97 registration so seams right on par. I am trying to figure out a cost of living budget if we do make the move next spring.
