just a couple of things tbh
that is true! thankfully i have a good sized back yard to store my trailers in. i do need to remove the crappy little gate i made for a temp use two years ago lmao. to actually build a true gate! but ive been lazy! ill have to do it now thou since the new truck wont fit in that gate its a bit to large! agreed! if i didnt have the gf wanting to go camping with me and to trailer bikes around id very much have a gfc! but since she is wanting to come with on these trips its prob best to have things so she is comfortable as well lol.

oh hells ya man! those awnings are sick! now time for one of those little mist style fans that would make it awesome!

yeah definitely best to accomodate the gf, certainly never hurts.

misting fan is on the list, portable generator comes first as I'll need to be able to power the fan, the smaller handheld ones don't seem they'd be all that much useful in real heat. The one I was looking to buy last week I'm pretty sure ended up being a scam, but I got my money back through Paypal luckily.

That makes sense, less time / thought on moving foot placement around. Thanks for the clarification.

This is my last post here. Too many people that just have to voice their negative opinions. Used to be fun here but not anymore. I thought this was a motorcycle support group. I guess I was wrong.

Thanks!! I think with the tires and rear sets it is really starting to click. I've been watching a lot of MotoGP videos and staring at pictures of others riding to study body position and then practicing in the garage with my bike on the stand, and trying to apply all that on the track.

I did have to stretch for the picture. It wasn't my fastest lap either (it's faster to focus on lines than looking cool, not surprisingly).

I actually went to the Amain Hobbies warehouse/store to go RC drifting and crawling the day before as it's about 50 minutes from the track. Met up with a friend Saturday morning and hung out at Amain for the day before heading to the track.

GP shift is reverse shift pattern. There are several corners where I am leaned off the side of the bike and it's easier to push down to upshift than trying to scoop up with my foot, whereas braking is all done in a straight line for the most part, so pulling up to downshift is much easier.

Thanks!! Loving the Subaru so far! Been a great tow rig for motorcycle activities.

Aw man, don't let a few posts drive you away. I'd love to hear about the FZ1 sale and the GSXR750 purchase.

sometimes you gotta prioritize a little form over function haha. I should probably do some body positioning practice on my stands at home...never thought about doing that.

lol you would think but generators are pretty standard. Even once I have all I need/want I'll still look like I'm on a budget compared to the guys with serious toy haulers or full size motorhomes haha. But who cares, I'm there to ride!

hahah not for a LONG time...unless some poor sap wants to get into overlanding and offers me an outright trade for my truck and it's accessories but that's a pipe dream

Honestly I'd be happy with a cargo van like a Transit. Have a flip down bed mounted to the side wall and put the motorcycle in the back. No trailer, security of enclosed van, don't need to find parking for RV/motorhome, don't need to unload everything when you get home at night.

that would be the more realistic route for sure. some of the smaller motorhomes aren't bad but they're still a lot of vehicle to deal with.

If my father and I were on better terms i'd probably try to snag his old Econoline van and convert it

BeRad made a pretty sick moto-focused large van build:

He had another smaller transit build before that, too.

That's awesome! My HOA wouldn't allow a utility van like that, though. It would have to be more stealthy and look like a normal passenger van.

That Hilux is sweet... I have a similar one but has a tonneau cover instead of cap.

Also nice riding and progression at the track! I'm going back on Oct 12 which I think is the last weekend of the season. Hoping to improve, going to focus on body position and being smooth. What are you using to log lap times?
