Nah, I’ve had one. This was an accidental purchase that doesn’t work for my truck and I’ve got no need for it.

My neighbor Ashley has a 2020 Honda Pilot with like 72K miles, and it just randomly wouldn’t start outside the laundromat today. Her dad’s (pictured) Honda Accord couldn’t start it, my Tacoma (with an Optima YellowTop) couldn’t get it started, and we thought the starter had failed based on how the vehicle was behaving; it turns out that the battery (original) was just REALLY DEAD! Also, note how much of a pain in the ass it is to access the battery in the Pilot, at least compared to my truck!

 

you’ve got a lot of corrosion built up on yours that isn’t helping. When jump starting I always leave the connections for at least 5 minutes before attempting to start the impaired vehicle. Also looks like you could use some larger gauge cables for faster charging.

 

Naw the best way to do it is just hook up without your car running then both batteries die.


I wonder if there are any alligator clips for the 600mcm I have laying around.

I'd be cautious using undersized cables whether they are yours or not, good way to cause damage to both vehicles. A little baking soda and a brass toothbrush get rid of that in no time.
