Checkout the allpro axle relocation plates. there's a position for 3/4" in on them that I used when I had my previous OME springs.

them being skinnies is helping with the clearance. More width = more :sawzall:
I had to clearance more for my 295s on 17x9's more than I did for my 315's on 16x8's.

Exactly why I stick with skinnies and low offset. I have factory +15mm offset and have a 34x10.50 without any metal trimming other than the arb.

Am I reading right that you've got 34s and the only clearancing you did was washer fluid relocate? If so... impressive.

Yup rubbing comes from wide tires and negative off sets. Both my Ranger and my Tacoma have run these 34x10.50s on stock wheels. Without spacers and had no clearance issues. I don't rub on the fenders, inner fender. Pinch weld. I cut the plastic a little bit in front of the pinch weld. And I rub the frame at full lock passenger but only enough to wear the paint off.
The washer fluid tanks in the same spot but I put in a smaller one that sits about 3" further in.

Narrow tires have good grip but wide tires just ride better. Glad you found a way to make them work without tubbing!

Found a part that's been missing for a while that somehow managed to find it's way into the LR dif cover o_O if I didn't pull it out myself last night while greasing the drive line I wouldn't have believed it

Went for a trail ride with the local Tacoma club. Truck did great except for some fender lining/flare rubbing and a couple odd acceleration issues.

You’re running 34s with the 2.7? Do you have different gears? Mine has 31s and it can’t get out of its own way. I also have a 2nd Gen with the 4.0 with a throttle controller, so when I drive the 98 it seems so slow. It has a great deal of low end torque though! Your setup looks awesome!!

I was able to reposition the intermediate joint with the steering rack fully hooked up and fastened down. A little tight but it’s doable.

OME lift. ARB bumper. Trans cooler, pillar pods, Alpine stereo, backup cam, LED headlights, Fog lights. Window tint.
Weekend project. Pulled bumper to replace crush cans (had a little opps while back). Scraped, ground and treated all of the rust inside and out. Primed and Raptor lined inside and out. New headlights, marker lights, fog lights and grille. All new hardware with anti-seize. Also removed trans cooler since I don't tow with it anymore and replaced trans temp sensor.

Collection of some "what I've done today". Most recently took off the leather wrap from my wheel that was looking really rough, turns out the old owner had wrapped it from apparently new and it's a completely un-worn wheel underneath!

Also threw a new set of wheels on. Crazy deal off marketplace, only 500 miles on the set with Firestone Destination AT/2's (265/70R17) and paid $700 for them. Definitely like them better than my old Kenda Klever's. Much quieter and better traction in all conditions. Haven't tested wet dirt and mud yet, probably won't be as good but everywhere else much better already. Wasn't sure how I was going to like the white but it's kinda cool!

OME suspension with the Dakar leaf pack to replace the old beat up 5100's. Softer ride, little bit lower, but feels really really good.

    This truck is coming along!

I regeared mine to 4.88s when I put the 33s on last year. It made a world of difference but here in Colorado I still struggle on the passes about 10k feet.
