Career day is done, it went okay. I am not a good teacher, lol.

@RustyGreen I don’t know what to say about the pacifier/pj incident. I think I may get banned if I say what I want to say

I’ll get shade for this, but we use the husky 345s at work, and I hate those pieces of crap. They cut decent, but start hard, stall often, and are cold blooded as hell.

Chances are that her outfit was decided by HIM. Sounds a bit like a domination thing going on. And if they were in public and she was not running away then she was probably into it.

I respectfully disagree....she's an attention seeker. And if asked why she was doing that she would tell you what a redneck idiot you are for not being more accepting.

We're always the idiots. Always.

I grew up in the north so probably not a redneck -- she would probably call me a dirty old man which is also untrue - I shower regularly. ;)

As far as being attracted ... o_O

Hate to tell you, after living in the Deep South for many years, PA and Upstate NY have far more rednecks than the South

Dude told me today that the dealership overtorqued his lug nuts and it warped his rotors……
Is this even possible? I asked what they were torqued to and he didn’t have an answer….I said then how do you know they were over torqued? And he didn’t even have an answer when I asked what his wheel nut torque was on his second gen taco. I dismissed his bullshit after that short convo but got me thinking…can overtorqued lug nuts warp a rotor?

Sooo, I've heard of this, but don't know personally of any cases. Being a dealership any crazy crap could happen... o_O

    No.

The reason for torque numbers is the likelihood of cracking an alloy wheel.

Steelies don't really have a torque setting, except that most shop air tops out at 150 psi.

Alloy wheels are much more rigid with no flex. They can crack if tightened over 100 lbs of torque...that is the theory.

Honestly, with today's technology and stress relief of the milling, it unlikely, but it is still good practice...to stay around 100 ft lbs of torque. Sure makes it easier if you got to change a tire on the side of the xway.

The over tightening of the wheels is unlikely to be the reason the rotor warped.
