The managers are actually really cool; Kevin is the executive chef and he was working today. Chris is the other manager, and the one who gave me the old Carrier wall A/C unit back in July. They are both really good guys, and very level-headed, which is why they are managers.

This. When I worked at the supermarket I would help the deli Sunday nights for a little extra cash, as they were always short staffed that day. One time I got behind the deli counter and one of the guys was way overdue for break, with a line of 12 people. I said "Bob go take break". He was all flustered about the line. I told him "I'm gonna do my best one person at a time is what I'm going to do, you go on break and relax. We'll get it done".

Ain't no job worth stressing over. Just do what you can do, brother.

Level-headed people that don't constantly blow their tops usually make good managers.

My neighbor Ashley has a 2020 Honda Pilot with like 72K miles, and it just randomly wouldn’t start outside the laundromat today. Her dad’s (pictured) Honda Accord couldn’t start it, my Tacoma (with an Optima YellowTop) couldn’t get it started, and we thought the starter had failed based on how the vehicle was behaving; it turns out that the battery (original) was just REALLY DEAD! Also, note how much of a pain in the ass it is to access the battery in the Pilot, at least compared to my truck!

I remember some Chrysler products having the battery in the wheelwell, you had to take the damn tire off to access it.

Try late 80's-early 1990's Corvettes. They too did that. Behind the drivers wheel.

Lots of stupid places to put them.
I worked for AutoZone at one time. I seen some good ones.

Under the windshield washer reservoirs, under seats, under the plastic intake air manifold......

Yes. We did have the right to refuse you "free installation".
That asterisks was there for a reason.

And yes, I had customers get really mad at me too.

You would think Engineering Departments could do a better job with things, sometimes l think they do things to make mechanics jobs harder.

My friend had a 2013 Dodge Avenger that had that setup.

Or so you won't try to DIY and bring it to the dealer.

My brother in law's dad had a Chrysler 300, battery in the trunk. That's not the thing..but there was only an electronic release for the trunk, no key. So if the battery goes stone dead, how do you get in there? My surmise is the seat folds down or something?
