Went too fast into a chute and exited hot, straight into some trees….
Taint slammed hard into top tube, but otherwise ok.
I think the derailleur made it… will find out when I remount it with incoming hanger.

Still working with guy, but haven't shipped yet. I'm waiting to see if any chargebacks hit. Surely someone would've noticed 3700 off of their account or card.

    One’s enough….
Was gonna get a snip anyways, maybe this saved me some $$$?
Kryptos are excellent tires. Front and rear. I prefer the enduro casing in soft for the rear and super soft for the front. Though they’re not in my top picks for the front.
Have a few miles now on the Kryptotal front as a rear tire, and gotta say, I’m liking it. Sheet tons of grip, reasonable weight, decent rolling, not much worse than the rear version.

redid the transaction with paypal, the guys been talking to me on facebook and even uploading stories so he does seem like it's a legitimate person and him. Now does that mean a legitimate person couldn't scam me. Possibly, here's the invoice made through paypal that I'm hoping holds up. Unfortunately, paypal doesn't release funds this time until after I upload tracking and it's delivered to the courier.

Also, shipping bikes on paypal is super duper cheap comparatively.

Never mind, I kept clicking around PayPal and they released my funds... All I did was request the lowest amount possible to release.
    upload_2024-9-25_15-8-37.png

So, let's just hope my invoice sent via paypal holds up.

That's interesting. I am looking at switching from Maxxis DHF/DHR and was actually considering running the Krypo Fr on both ends. Thanks for the feedback. How do they compare to Maxxis in rolling resistance?

Hold off for the super soft enduro casing if you're putting them on a trail bike. Those should be out sometime soon. The current enduro soft is more like a maxx terra imo. The rolling otherwise is comparable to the dhf/dhr.

Another thing I've done is use an online escrow service. I bought a set of wheels and tires that needed to be shipped. Overall, it was pretty expensive and neither one of us knew how to keep ourselves protected. The escrow service outlines terms, I sent money to the escrow and they released it once I confirmed I got the goods. There's a fee associated with it, but it was worth it for piece of mind, at least in my case.

    Thanks!
I didn't have that option, probably since I've never shipped with PP before.
I had to go the the transaction, and from there click through "print shipping label". That allowed me to set up shipping. I still need to put in box dimensions, so we'l see how that comes back. Would certainly be an easier option!

Knee deep in a 24" Craig Turner GT Cruiser Build.

Just waiting on wheels from J&R Bicycles in Largo FL and what an amazing shop they are. Highly recommend them and Kirk the owner is a grinder, he wrote me a quote for wheels at midnight. AND $221 cheaper than American Cycle in NY. Same exact build! No Tacoma in this pic but it'll be riding nicely in the back of the Tacoma soon enough :D

Not sure yet. Going to see tomorrow.

This time of year is so fun to ride.
During that twilight hour there’s so much wildlife around.
Numerous deer on the trail, rode by an elk herd, a few hawks were circling the chairlift. I dropped into a long sketchy chute and there was a partridge just chilling in the middle of it! Move!!!
Then was surrounded, literally one in front and one behind by two big bull moose. Had nowhere to go, and they were in no hurry to move. After a few minutes of gently “asking” them to move they wandered off.
