Been hearing that since they came out; definitely need to just grab one today

Thought I'd post for those that don't own one and want to save a good chunk of money

Well fuck. Guess Ill add that to my endless list of side projects

Yup, I got it set just under 110. That gives me 100 in the line under load.

Thats how I knew something was up last night, I happened to see the needle was up to 140. Once I took my earplugs out I could hear it hissing. Like it was trying to relive down to the set pressure

    Absolutely!

Had to wait until after the kid woke up from his nap. I probably would have missed out as there were only two left.

I should have realized how big it was from your picture! They didn’t have one on the shelf but were able to find one in the back. My wife asked me to look for one of those long weeding tools so I bought a torch:rofl: It works really good for only $25

I bought that same ball joint kit to replace some seized u joints I had on my 1988 ranger. Worked like charm after days of hammering with no luck!

same one I use since I have to carry it from the shed to the driveway (no garage) it's not a problem for the 100 foot walk back and forth

Really late to the party, but I've had the same box since 2017. Bought it scratch and dent for like $200. I have no complaints and the drawer slides have held up just fine.

Loaded up it doesn't roll the best, but I never move mine but maybe once a year to clean behind there.

Yep I have to carry mine about 50ish feet each way. Eventually we'll get a house with a nice garage area to work in, though my future imagined garage seems to get larger and larger.

I sold pneumatic automation components for many years. If you are serious about industrial quality air preparation, I would steer toward SMC, Norgren, or Parker. What is sold at big box stores is not reliable or accurate in many cases. My .02

SMC makes a great "point of use" air dryer. I sold hundreds of these. They work best when installed close to the point of use.

Cool thanks for the tip. Im familiar with SMC from my industrial automation days. Never even thought of them for home shop air. Ill have to look into price.

Thinking about it more last night my merlin regulator is definitely still under warranty. Ill go that route first if I can find the receipt.

If you have any evergreens - steer clear, and have a hose at the ready.

    ....ask me how I know.

Also, they use a surprisingly little amount of propane. Worth it, but just be careful :spy:

One of the guys at work says that you don't own the house, the house owns you. IMO he's right.
