Running board lights

I recently purchased the OPT7 Sidekick 60" Aluminum LED Running Board Lights, 2PCS for my 23 Tacoma. I need help to see where I have to wire the lights to be able to use the sequential turning signals and running lights. Has anyone installed these lights that can help?

 

never mind. i thought it was the tailgate bar.

 

Turns:

Numbers on connector is looking into the removable connector, not the wire side.

STOP:

 

he should need the parking light circuit, not the stop lamp circuit

 

I connected it to this location and the running lights worked! The only issue is that they start turning on randomly in the middle of the night. Is there another location this would work?

 

Where did YOU tap for the juice? Turns and Stop are input signals to the light bars

 

You do not want your brake lights on the side of your truck...illegal and unsafe. Turn signals will be distracting to other drivers down there, but i guess thats ok. Running lights should be fine.

 

It’s the running lights that I want on.

 

these connect to the battery for the ground and power. I want the running lights to work tho.

 

Seems like you edited your post...originally it said brake lights and turn signals. 60" LED strip running lights on each side are going to be quite obnoxious tbh. only needed on extended width or length vehicles.
