Belray waterproof grease is probably the highest recommended grease. It's what I use.

Welp, they're gonna keep my in the hospital until I have the 2nd surgery. I've had a few bad nights with pain management and don't want to run into that at home. Another benefit of knowing the doc for over a decade :D

PS, Valium did the trick for me. Got some deep sleep last night.

Really any grease will do as long as its fresh and plenteful. Belray makes good stuff, I tend to only use marine grease on stuff that sees water (jetskis and jetski trailer). Red n Tacky on most everything else as thats what I always have an abundance of.

+1 to this. Doesnt matter if the bike is brand new, used and "professionally maintained" etc etc. But for me EVERY single pivot point in the suspension/steering/brakes/levers gets pulled apart and greased properly. Makes things last a LONG time.

Not surprising tbh, 95% of the time things are slapped together in the moto world with nothing more than the packing grease.

Rear hand brake is huge with the stunt riders for wheelie control, also I found accidentally that when you install the front wheel backwards on a tenere 700 the abs is disabled, as well as the odometer which means I’m not racking up miles, but speeding tickets are a concern!

Crazy you can disable it that easily. Goes to sell it “straight off the showroom floor, only has 5 miles”

Anyone grabbing a Dax when they become available? upload_2024-9-24_12-38-59.png

If my wife wouldn't murder me for doing it, I'd be tempted to pick one up and try swapping some Grom parts over. The grey version would look killer with the Grom's gold forks I think.
