The other day I cleaned my throttle body on my truck. I wiped and sprayed it with Toyota throttle body cleaner. Went to start my truck afterwards and it stalled but the second time fired up. Then I noticed the check engine light and trac control lights were on. I assumed it was because of the cleaner I sprayed in there. I disconnected the battery without checking what code it was. (I should have checked) So I cleared the codes. Is this what normally happens when you clean the throttle body?
I read somewhere you can throw a lean mixture code because of the cleaner but would go away in time.

I didn't have the light when I cleaned mine. Might have effected the Mass Air Flow sensor.

Yeah, throttle body cleaning and stumbling can result in a code. You'll be fine.

I don't think you should have wiped it. Just spray it down.

You can sweat the what ifs if you like, but right now you have no codes. So why are you worried?? I'm guessing you are fine. Either way their is nothing you can do unless the truck pushes back on you with a code. Send it.

The light might have come on because the sensor and positions readings where suddenly very different from the previews time the engine was started (before the cleaning). Once you reset the code and the new clean readings became the norm it never set off a code again. I don't know which readings are reset by disconnecting the battery, and which aren't.
If you don't have codes and the engine is running well, I wouldn't worry about it.
