I'm sure most out there love their hood scoop but for those wanting to get rid of theirs, IM DESPERATE FOR ONE! I have an 08 Black Sand Pearl Hood in near perfect condition willing to trade for a scooped hood.

I dont know if this is pointless but maybe ill get lucky.

HAHA yea i figured the cost is gunna be pricey. Does anyone know if Id have better luck trying to go through a dealership to get one? or if theres some type of aftermarket hood with a scoop that fits our tacos?

I went the dealership route and love mine. That's definitely the most simple approach to getting a quality product that fits perfectly.

There are ones online for $150, I remember seeing one for $100, primed, that aren't OEM but are certified to fit precisely. You will need the hood scoop insert and to have it painted of course.

I have never tried them out, so my guess is as good yours about the actual quality, but I know that a few people on the forum have used them and they have pictures to prove how well it turned out.

I asked a similar question once, and there is a picture of someone who used the hood.

    Best of luck man!

Your in AZ so go to a certifit and get the hood for less then 100 and buy the scoop inserts for 100 bucks and get it painted. Total cost for my hood with scoop was 300 even though it didnt do anything lol.

right.... then maybe they will realize that the hood wont get them anywhere. function is for men, fashion is for women.
