I’ve noticed that my '07 regular cab has been getting really humid inside, especially after heavy rain. Recently, after a car wash, I checked under the passenger-side floor mat and found that the carpet was visibly wet, though there wasn’t any standing water. This has been happening for a while, and I suspect it might be due to the windshield or seals needing replacement.

Has anyone else experienced this? Besides the windshield and door seals, is there anything else I should be looking at or cleaning up? I don't suspect it to be HVAC drain lines, since it comes with heavy water. Floor plugs, maybe?

    Would appreciate any advice!

My 07 access cab has started to have the same issue. I've thought HVAC since it seemed to start when a chipmunk built a nest in the blower box and they all drowned after a big rain but other than replacing the blower and the speed circuit to get things working for the AC, i've made no progress on it. Fortunately it has been a dry summer, but i need to resolve it before bad weather sets in...

Yeahhh, I'm almost certain it's a front windshield seal. I know everyone hears of this and yells AC but mine gets significantly wet while washing and once it rains. Process of elimination, downwards waterfall that flows to the most bottom point, the floorboard.

Simple and straight forward, doesn't need a rocket scientist to fix. Windshield could stand looking clearer too. I like it. Thanks!

That's just what I am hoping. In my mind, that's my issue but I wanted to see if anyone else knew of any other causes before I went at it. If you replace your windshield soon and it fixes, please let me know!

My 07 does this sporadically. It is so rare that I've not figured out a pattern. But I think it only happens when parked with the front of the truck pointed up, or down. Never when on the level and never when driving. All of the water in mine is caught in the rubber floor mat leaving a puddle. It's easy enough to just empty the floor mat when it happens. Carpet never gets wet.

Floor mat would be cheaper than a new windsheild... Hmmm...

Unfortunately, I have Weathertech mats and it's definitely collecting under it. But yeah, I'm in a similar spot where how I'm parked affects it too lol. So weird.

My 2010 passenger side floor mat got wet when it rained too. I ripped the interior apart a few times trying to find the leak. I found the leak by placing a garden house over certain areas with the interior removed to see where the water was coming from.

My leak was just below the windshield, passenger side. Sometimes standing water under the carpet by the plastic floor vents. It appears some of the seam sealant used in the factory had dried out. I cleaned, dried and then applied new sealant in the area. Fixed my problem.
