Good morning! The farm is as ready as it can be for Helene. Looks like early Friday morning will be when it will have the most impact there, appears to be forecast to make landfall as a major hurricane to the west of us.
Here in St. Pete, we will be dealing with storm surge on Thursday and into Friday. Today is the day to get things done. I'll be securing the boat and clearing the patio.

Well, our lovely weather was short lived. Back into low 90s high 80s for the next 10 days. Guess I won’t have to deal with shutting down the sprinkler system for a while! Oh well that’s weather!

Kettlebell day! Then maybe yard work cutting back iris, trimming limbs, hauling off oil to recycle center, blowing off patios and walk ways, picking up raccoon poop (not my favorite thing to do!). Just general piddling outside. Hmmm…maybe I need to dig out the raccoon dog proof traps and just eliminate a few?

Coffee tastes exceptional this morning. I must have gotten the perfect amount in.
