A nice tool kit up there! I have a lower profile Meso one and can only keep soft packs up there due to having passengers occasionally sit back there- it clears their heads still that way.

I’d suggest a fire extinguisher if you have a good way to mount it. There are some that are low profile and effective for smaller fires.

If it’s legal in someone’s state (and yes, it is legal here in California up to an 2.5oz container and permits are not required), how about also keeping pepper spray mounted up there to ward off attacking Zombie wannabes? (Assuming you don’t live in the desert/ a hot car could turn it into a real mess in the cab!).

Thanks. Fire extinguisher mounted bedside in back. (Full size) Bear spray is within reach up front. Technically, Bear spray exceeds the container size parameter for "self-defense" in NV but if I have to spray a person from the truck, I'm doing that to get away from something bad; not sticking around to discuss it.

I keep an extinguisher within reach in the cab as well. They are useful for other things besides fires. But as I wrote before, be careful where you keep fire extinguishers. I used to have one under my seat until a girlfriend triggered it by adjusting the seat and the interior of the cab filled with clouds. She stayed inside trying to reach the extinguisher while coughing - I finally opened the door and got her out.
