Gun safe/lock box in 3rd gen. Tacoma

I treat my states no carry signs like a request regardless if they are or not, as I unfortunately live in one of those states where all the commie Ltards in cities somehow hold all the power, though every other square inch of the state outside the city centers are con Patriots. Shall. Not. Be. Infringed. My and my families safety supersede the fee fees of every human on earth.

 

I too order my locker down vault yesterday. I would have to try the cable route since i usually charge my phone through that 12v outlet. How is the vault holding up so far?

 

I have the Lock’er Down and really like it. Fits perfect in the console. I generally Carry a subcompact but it will easily fit a compact as well. I had some leftover carpet from a subwoofer box project so I carpeted the interior.

 

This is my long gun solution.....It will take a full size AR without a problem.

The link in my previous post was for cables that I was able to route under the console and through the little cutout through the factory console lid in the Tacoma. I was able to get 2 of them to fit, and used a little 12v usb in the console. I think newer Tacoma’s maybe no longer have that 12v, or that 12v is replaced by USB? I have a 2017.

 

does anyone know of taillight gun storage for tacoma? ive seen them for quite a few other trucks including the hilux but cant seem to find anything for tacomas

I’ve always thought that was a great way to ruin a gun. Get rear ended.

 

RedRock has an under seat locking storage unit for under the rear seats. It’s not cheap but so far it’s the only non custom locking storage out there

It is much better than the GST Port supplied safe on my 2023 4RUNNER i ordered with the 4RUNNER.

 

The website is still up and you can put things in your cart though I did call the number and it just goes to voicemail. Are you sure they are closed?

 

They're closed, in as much if you somehow succeed in ordering, you won't get your shit.
Last I looked, their website wouldn't actually let you finish the checkout process either.
